- DEFINITIONS
- For the purpose of clarification, the following definitions have the same meaning whether they are singular or plural.
- Student means a customer or candidate or client or customer who reserves and/or books one or more services offered on HCL Ltd or its affiliates/associates websites or centres.
- HCL means Hayes College London or HCL Ltd or its affiliates/associates
- General Terms and Conditions' means these general terms and conditions for booking and use, as amended from time to time depending on changes needed.
- Events mean the offering of bookings to training events or courses or services booked
- Service means a service offered on the HCL Ltd or its affiliates/associates Website or centres, such as the booking of training services and assessment services.
- Associate ‘ or 'Partner' means a supplier of Services, such as a trainer, tutor, or training provider and centre.
- Entry Requirement
- All courses have entry requirements including minimum age and English language level. It is a requirement for the Candidate to communicate effectively in English. As such to comply with this the centre or trainer will assess your level of English before the start of the course if this requirement is not met you will not be allowed to attend the course. You must meet the basic English requirement
- Booking
- Customers who make the booking via phone, email, or through HCL Ltd or its affiliates/associates’ website are liable for any balance outstanding (if any), in full. Reservations made online can be transferred to any individual who is eligible to attend.
- Fee Are Subject
- Fees are subject to change until payment has been made and into HCL accounts.
- Bookings are subject to the availability of spaces and facilities.
- The discounted fees apply to special offer deals for certain dates and locations. HCL Ltd or its affiliates/associates reserves the right to change prices without notice.
- Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, cheque, or bank transfer.
- Refund
- A refund can be made for reasonable grounds only if it's cancelled 48 hours prior to the start of the course. Refund and cancelation do not apply to the discounted fees courses. If learner will attend or late for the course, no refund will be made.
- ATTENDANCE
- Course attendance is compulsory, anyone who arrives late will not be allowed in class.
- If anyone missed the course or late for the course still will be liable to pay the full fee.
- EXAM RESIT
- In case of failing an exam with HCL Ltd and you wish to re-sit the exam. You s request a re-sit from the centre within reasonable time by an email request to info@hayescollege.co.uk .
- CERTIFICATE POSTING
- Clients are duly responsible for providing accurate information as to the physical postal address as to where the certification will be dispatched using clear handwriting or electronic communication.
- In the case of ID validation forms used by awarding bodies, the onus is on the candidate to ensure that their name is written in the correct format and the spellings are correct. Such failure to do so will result in the candidate being liable for the administration costs by HCL Ltd or its affiliate/associate charged by the awarding body for any corrections.
- During any travel abroad or within the UK whether it is for training purposes or otherwise, the candidate is responsible for arranging their own insurance and we or our associates do not accept any liability in the event of injury or loss of property or other issues.
- Associate
- HCL Ltd may not always provide training directly itself but as through its affiliates/associates. The affiliates/associates providing approved SIA qualifications are accredited by different awarding bodies and fulfil the relevant criteria as laid down by the concerned regulators.
- Once HCL ltd arranges your training through our affiliate/associate partners, all the liability as regards the certification and administrative arrangements shall be the liability of our associates or partners.
- The responsibility of HCL Ltd shall be limited to arranging training through an approved training provider. Conduct of training as per SIA and concerned awarding body guidelines remains the sole responsibility of the training provider or providers concerned.
- Retention of ID documents and certificate
- HCL Ltd or its associate or affiliate may retain copies of your IDs for a reasonable period for preservation and proof of identity.
- The associates/affiliates of HCL ltd may retain the certificates of learners for a specific period of time. If the learner fails to collect the certificate the centre will bear no responsibility, and the period to retain the said certificates by the centre may be limited to a period of one month only.
- Privacy Policy:
- Our privacy policy is to make sure that learners data is collected only to complete registration and fulfil the audit obligation for specific time. Any personal confidential information received will only be used to complete your the registration. The information will only be used by us or the training provider offering the training. We shall not ask for sensitive information and we do not hold your financial information once you do an online transaction to pay for the fee of a course.
- "We never store credit card details, nor do we share financial details with any third parties"
- Whilst attending HCL Ltd or its affiliate/associate centres you will not be able to take any images or video or audio recordings at any time documented or electronically or by any means of recording.
- Disclaimer
- We make every effort to ensure that information given on the website believe to accurate, however, HCL Ltd or its affiliate/associate centres will not accept any responsibility for any misrepresentation or error of the information, and we would not be responsible in case of any loss or damages may occur.
- We strive to offer courses according to the website schedule, but changes may occur at short notice.
- Information provided on the website can be used at the user's own risk.
- If any HCL website is linked with another website, HCL does not accept any responsibility for the content of the website.
